Users and roles
Roles and permissions are managed from the depot users panel. An admin assigns each user role and, for external users, which client they belong to.

Client portal (CLIENT_USER)
CLIENT_USER sees a reduced menu: containers, customs, invoices, and reports for their client only. No Gate or commercial configuration. See Client portal.
Container Exchange (EXCHANGER)
B2B buyers use a different sidebar: public marketplace, their own listings, and assigned inventory. Depots publish from the Exchange block.
Demo (DEMO_ADMIN)
Access to ContainerHub Demo after signup with a valid demo token. Writes are simulated and do not persist (showroom). See Try the demo.
Invitations and signup
- Email invitation — Admin invites from Users; new user gets assigned role.
- Depot self-serve code —
/signup/depotwith a depot signup code. - Demo registration —
/signup?demo=truewith valid token.
If you need to change permissions, do it from the depot users panel.
