Container inspections
Inspections record container condition at different lifecycle points: entry, exit, periodic checks, or pre-trip. In ContainerHub you can run manual inspections or AI-assisted inspection to speed up damage coding with IICL codes.
Inspection types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| ENTRY | When the container arrives at the depot. |
| EXIT | Before handover out of the depot. |
| ROUTINE | Scheduled review while in yard. |
| Pre-trip (PTI) | Pre-trip before loading or dispatch. |
| DAMAGE_SURVEY | Damage-focused survey, e.g. for MNR quotation. |
Manual flow
- Create inspection — Choose container and type.
- Walk the box — Roof, walls, doors, floor, understructure.
- Record damage — IICL component, location code, damage type, severity.
- Photos — Attach per damage or zone.
- Save — Links to container and optional repair creation.
AI-assisted inspection
The AI inspection wizard (/dashboard/depot/inspections/ai) proposes a draft from photos; you confirm before persisting.
