Configure your depot

Onboarding guides depot managers through the initial setup. You do it with Jarvis in /dashboard/ai-assistant using a step-by-step conversation to configure clients, tariffs, and optional yard locations.

What it solves

A depot is operational when it has at least one active client and one active tariff. Without that, some operational flows stay blocked until setup is complete. Jarvis helps you complete those requirements from chat.

The yard map is recommended for slot assignment and occupancy alerts, but it is not required for operational status or Gate In (you can record entries without a yard location until the map exists).

What the flow covers

  • Clients — Spreadsheet import or assisted creation.
  • Basic tariff — Minimum storage tariff to unlock operations; extend MNR and charges in the tariffs module.
  • Yard (optional) — Base locations for the map; refine stacking rules later in Yard map.

Once client + tariff are in place, continue with Gate In, References and releases, and other modules.

Permissions & access

  • Only company-level admins can run the full setup.
  • Each company works in its own data space inside the platform.
